Kylie L. Hobson
Associate Attorney
Associate Attorney Kylie Hobson joined the firm in February 2025, after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2024. While in law school, she earned a Certificate of Concentration in Family Law with Distinction and a Pro Bono Certificate in recognition of her commitment to community service.
Kylie is a proud graduate of the University of Virginia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree with distinction in 2013, double majoring in English and French.
Before entering law school, Kylie’s interests focused on mental health, substance use disorders, and criminal justice, experiences that shaped her understanding of how deeply personal and complex legal matters can be. During her legal studies, she discovered her true calling was working directly with people—listening to their stories, understanding their needs, and guiding them through difficult and often emotional situations. This path naturally led her to estate planning and elder law, where she provides compassionate, thoughtful guidance through life’s most challenging transitions.
As the newest addition to the firm, Kylie is gaining experience in many areas of practice, including estate planning, probate and the administration of trusts and wills, special needs and long-term care planning, guardianship and conservatorship, and elder law. She is excited to continue learning and growing in each of these areas, and she looks forward to discovering where her practice will ultimately take shape. No matter her focus, Kylie’s priority remains the same—helping clients and their families feel supported and cared for during life’s important transitions.
