Carolyn A. White
Managing Partner
Carolyn White is managing partner at Midlothian Estate & Elder Law, where her practice focuses on estate planning, probate and administration of trusts and wills, long-term care planning, and elder law. She is certified by the Virginia Supreme Court to serve as guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults, and she is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
An AV-rated attorney, Carolyn was selected by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as a Leader in the Law for the 2023 class. She is a past president of both the Richmond Bar Association and the Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association and a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation. Carolyn received the Richmond Bar Association’s John C. Kenny Pro Bono Award in 2021 and participates actively with VCU’s Medical-Legal Partnership and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of CancerLINC. She also serves on the Powhatan Board of Zoning Appeals.
